Today's Daily Words (The struggle within)- There are times in our life, that our struggles are with ourselves or a close relative. We must learn to seek the instruction of The Ruach Hakodesh (The Holy Spirit).
Shemu’ĕl Bĕt (2 Samuel) 2:4, 9-10, 15-17, 28 TS2009
[4] And the men of Yehuḏah came, and anointed Dawiḏ sovereign over the house of Yehuḏah there. They also reported to Dawiḏ, saying, “The men of Yaḇĕsh Gil‛aḏ are they who buried Sha’ul.”
[9] and set him up to reign over Gil‛aḏ, and over the Ashĕrites, and over Yizre‛ĕl, and over Ephrayim, and over Binyamin, and over all Yisra’ĕl. [10] Ishbosheth, son of Sha’ul, was forty years old when he began to reign over Yisra’ĕl, and he reigned two years. Only the house of Yehuḏah followed Dawiḏ.
[15] And they rose and went over by number, twelve from Binyamin, followers of Ishbosheth son of Sha’ul, and twelve from the servants of Dawiḏ. [16] And each man took hold of his opponent by the head and thrust his sword in his opponent’s side, and they fell down together. So that place was called the Field of Sharp Swords, which is in Giḇ‛on. [17] And the battle was fierce that day, and Aḇnĕr and the men of Yisra’ĕl were smitten before the servants of Dawiḏ.
[28] Yo’aḇ then blew with a shophar, and all the people halted and pursued Yisra’ĕl no further, nor did they fight any more.
